By accessing and using MenuCleaner's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. These terms apply to all users, including individuals and businesses.

Permitted Use

MenuCleaner is designed for legitimate business and personal use. You may use our tools for:

  • Processing your own documents, menus, and files
  • Business operations including restaurant menu management
  • Personal document conversion and editing
  • Standard commercial workflows within your organization

This is a grant of license to use our service, not a transfer of any intellectual property rights.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content you don't have rights to use
  • Resell, redistribute, or white-label our service without permission
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or bulk processing without prior approval
  • Attempt to overwhelm our servers with excessive requests
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Upload malicious files or content designed to harm our systems
  • Use our service for any unlawful purpose

File Processing

When you upload files to MenuCleaner:

  • You retain ownership of your content
  • You grant us a temporary license to process your files for the requested operation
  • Files are automatically deleted after processing (typically within 1 hour)
  • We do not access, review, or use your files for any purpose other than processing your request

AI-Powered Features

Some features (AI Menu Cleaner, AI Receipt Scanner, AI PDF Summarizer) use third-party AI processing (OpenAI). When using these features:

  • Your content is sent to our AI provider for processing
  • AI results may not be 100% accurate - always review output
  • We do not use your content to train AI models
  • Processing is subject to our AI provider's acceptable use policies

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice when possible.

Disclaimer

MenuCleaner is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Compression and conversion results may vary depending on source file quality and content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MenuCleaner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
